Description
The current edition of Problems in Calculus of One Variable offers an in-depth mathematical analysis, based on the experience of several years by author I.A. Maron. The aim of the book is to train the students to develop an active approach to solving problems in mathematics. For easy browsing, the book has been divided into eight chapters which cover the entire syllabus.
For practice purposes, the book has standard computational exercises which promote deeper understanding of theory. Counter examples which explain certain exceptions in theorems are also included to give the student a comprehensive understanding of various theorems and its applications.
Towards the end of each chapter, there are unsolved problem sets so that students may revise their learning. The answers to these questions have been provided at the end to assess learning. Students can master the concepts in Calculus with relevant theoretical content along with solved and unsolved problems with this book.
