Release of Admit Cards

On February 3, 2025, CBSE admit cards 2025 made available for both Class 10 and Class 12 students. These admit cards serve as the primary entry document to the examination halls and contain crucial information such as the student’s roll number, examination center details, subject codes, and important instruction. Without a valid admit card, students will not be permitted to appear for the examinations.

How to Obtain the Admit Card?

The procedure to obtain the admit card varies for regular and private candidates:

For Regular Candidates:

  1. School Distribution: Regular students enrolled in CBSE-affiliated schools are required to collect their admit cards directly from their respective institutions. School administrations have been provided with the necessary credentials to download the admit cards from the CBSE portal. Upon completion of the download, these admit cards are endorsed by the school principal and subsequently distributed to the students. It is imperative for students to visit their schools promptly to obtain their admit cards before the commencement of exams.
  2. Verification: Students must thoroughly check the details printed on the admit card upon receiving it. In case of any discrepancies, they should immediately inform the school authorities to get the necessary corrections made.

For Private Candidates:

  1. Online Download: Private candidates must download their admit cards directly from the official CBSE website.
  2. Steps to Download:
    • Visit the official CBSE website: cbse.gov.in.
    • Click on the link labeled 'Download Admit Card for Private Candidates Board Examination 2025.'

    • Make sure to check all the details thoroughly once your admit card appears.
    • Click on the 'Proceed' button.
    • Make sure to check all the details thoroughly once your admit card appears.
    • Download and print the admit card, preferably in color, to ensure all details are clear.
  3. Correction Process: If a private candidate notices any errors in the admit card, they must immediately contact the CBSE regional office with supporting documents to rectify the mistake before the exams begin.

Upon receiving the admit card, students should meticulously verify the following details:
